Adventure Island III

Hudson's 1992 NES side-scroller and the third entry in the Adventure Island series. Master Higgins sets off once more across tropical island stages — this time to rescue his girlfriend Tina from alien kidnappers. The game introduces four dinosaur companions: a fire-breathing T-Rex, a soaring pterodactyl, a swimming plesiosaur, and a charging triceratops, each with unique abilities. Classic ranged weapons like the stone axe and boomerang round out the arsenal. A constantly depleting hunger meter keeps players scrambling to collect fruit, ensuring a relentlessly brisk pace and a satisfying, tightly tuned challenge.
