Bucky O'Hare

A side-scrolling action game developed by Konami in 1992 for the NES, based on the comic book and animated series of the same name. Players control Captain Bucky O'Hare, a green rabbit on a rescue mission across five planets ruled by the Toad Empire, gradually freeing his captured crewmates — Dead-Eye Duck, Jenny, Willy DuWitt, and Blinky. Each rescued crew member joins the roster with a unique ability: Dead-Eye Duck shoots in all directions, while Jenny can deflect enemy bullets. The game boasts richly designed levels, distinctive bosses, and music and visuals that rank among the finest on the NES platform.
