Destiny of an Emperor 2

A turn-based RPG set in China's Three Kingdoms era, Destiny of an Emperor 2 follows Liu Bei's faction from their campaign out of Jing Province through the Battle of Red Cliffs and on to the Northern Expeditions. Players command celebrated generals — Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, Ma Chao, and Huang Zhong — against the forces of Cao Cao and Sun Quan, with Zhuge Liang providing strategic counsel. Combat is command-based and army-versus-army, layered with morale, supply, stratagems, and one-on-one duels, while the overworld distinguishes between marching and castle siege. The widely circulated Chinese DOS version made this one of the most influential Three Kingdoms titles for early PC gamers in China.
