Dragon Ball: Advanced Adventure

Developed by Banpresto and released for the Game Boy Advance in 2004, Dragon Ball: Advanced Adventure faithfully adapts the original Dragon Ball manga's young Goku story arc — from his first encounter with Bulma through the Dragon Ball hunt to climactic battles against King Piccolo at the World Martial Arts Tournament. Players control young Goku, smoothly chaining normal attacks, jumps, Flying Nimbus dashes, and the Kamehameha, with allies like Master Roshi, Krillin, and Yamcha appearing throughout. A standalone 1-vs-1 fighting mode features a roster of over 20 characters. With lovingly crafted pixel art and a faithful original soundtrack, it is widely considered the best Dragon Ball game on the GBA.
