Capcom's 1993 NES action-platformer is a sequel to the 1989 original, based on Disney's DuckTales animated series. Players control Scrooge McDuck, wielding his iconic pogo cane across five exotic stages — Niagara Falls, a Scottish manor, Easter Island, the Bermuda Triangle, and a pirate ship — collecting pieces of legendary pirate Captain Drake's treasure map. The sequel adds cane upgrades, hidden treasures, and branching paths. Released late in the NES lifecycle with a limited print run, the game is celebrated for its tight controls, layered level design, and David Wise's soundtrack — among the finest NES action-platformers of its era.
