Final Fantasy VII

This NES version of Final Fantasy VII is an unofficial 8-bit demake of Square's landmark 1997 PlayStation RPG. The original follows former SOLDIER mercenary Cloud Strife, who joins the eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE in their fight against the Shinra Corporation — a megacorporation draining the planet's life energy, the Lifestream. The journey ultimately reveals the fate of the last Ancient, Aerith, and the dark schemes of Cloud's nemesis, Sephiroth. This NES port recreates the original's turn-based combat framework and main storyline within the constraints of 8-bit hardware, giving players without access to a PlayStation an alternative way to experience the iconic story.
