Flight of the Amazon Queen

Developed in 1995 by Australia's Interactive Binary Illusions, Flight of the Amazon Queen is a point-and-click adventure that lovingly pays homage to Indiana Jones-style pulp adventure. Charter pilot Joe King is ferrying Hollywood starlet Faye Russell across the Amazon when engine trouble forces a jungle crash landing, pulling him into a conspiracy involving a lost tribe, a megalomaniacal Nazi scientist, and grotesque mutant experiments. The game features cartoon visuals, sharp humor, and SCUMM-style verb-based commands. It went open-source in 2004 and gained ScummVM support, earning recognition as a classic of the post-LucasArts adventure era.
