Harry's Legend

Harry's Legend is an unlicensed Famicom action-adventure game produced by mainland Chinese or Taiwanese bootleg developers, loosely inspired by the Harry Potter franchise. Players guide Harry through side-scrolling stages on his way to Hogwarts, battling enemies such as octopuses, fish, bats, rats, and snakes using magic projectile attacks. The game is extremely short and cuts off abruptly the moment Harry arrives at Hogwarts, suggesting it was left unfinished. Visually it blends anime-style illustrations, portraits reminiscent of the source material, and standard Famicom pixel art. Released without authorization from Nintendo or Warner Bros., it circulated primarily on pirated cartridges in the late 1990s.
