Mach Rider

Released by Nintendo in 1985, Mach Rider is an NES motorcycle action-shooter set in the year 2112. After an alien mechanical army called the Quadrunners overruns the Earth, the player takes control of the heavily armed motorcycle Mach Rider and fights through devastated highways to survive. Players can shift gears to accelerate, swerve between lanes to dodge obstacles, and fire forward to destroy enemy vehicles; colliding with hazards damages the bike. The game offers a stage-based Fighting Course and an endless Endurance Course, combining the thrill of high-speed racing with fast-paced shooting action.
