Mega Man 7

Released in 1995 to mark the franchise's tenth anniversary, Mega Man 7 arrived on the SNES with a cunning twist: anticipating his own capture, Dr. Wily had secretly pre-programmed eight backup robots — Burst Man, Cloud Man, Junk Man, Freeze Man, Slash Man, Spring Man, Shade Man, and Turbo Man — to activate automatically and break him out of prison. As Mega Man responds to the jailbreak, he encounters Bass and Treble, a dark warrior and mechanical wolf covertly built by Wily whose allegiance wavers between rival and reluctant ally. New mechanics include a slide dash, an Auto Shop for purchasing upgrades between stages, and an upgradeable Mega Buster, all presented in vibrant 16-bit visuals.
