Naruto: Ninja Council 2

Published by Tomy in 2004 for the Game Boy Advance, Naruto: Ninja Council 2 is a side-scrolling action game based on Masashi Kishimoto's manga Naruto. Players choose from a roster including Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, and Gaara, reliving early anime arcs such as the Konoha Crush and the search for Tsunade. The system builds on its predecessor's light brawler framework with a chakra gauge and jutsu combo chains added to the mix; certain stages also allow players to call in support characters for coordinated attacks. Levels scroll in classic 2D fashion and cap off with boss fights, delivering a brisk pace that made this one of the GBA's more popular Naruto adaptations.
