نبذة عن اللعبة
Released by Technos in 1990, Nintendo World Cup is a fast-paced NES soccer spin-off from the Nekketsu series. Thirteen national teams clash in seven-a-side matches viewed from a top-down isometric angle, with slide tackles and on-field brawls counted as fair play. Each team has a signature super shot: a player leaps, spins in midair, and unleashes a flame- or lightning-charged strike powerful enough to bowl the goalkeeper clean into the net. The game offers a World Cup elimination bracket and a two-player versus mode. Unusual surfaces — river, ice, and dirt pitches — introduce bounce and skid mechanics, making Nintendo World Cup one of the most entertaining 8-bit sports brawlers ever made.
