Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team is a GBA spin-off developed by Chunsoft in collaboration with Game Freak and published by Nintendo in 2005. An opening personality quiz determines which Pokémon the player becomes; they then partner with another Pokémon to form a rescue team and venture into procedurally generated dungeons to aid disaster-stricken allies. Combat follows Roguelike turn-based rules where every action advances the entire floor, and fainting results in losing held items and money. The story revolves around a world in upheaval and a looming meteor catastrophe, delivering an emotionally resonant narrative complemented by a deeply beloved soundtrack.
