Prehistorik

Prehistorik is a side-scrolling action platformer released by French developer Titus Software in 1991 for DOS. Players control a club-wielding caveman adventuring through primitive forests, glaciers, and volcanic terrain, bashing wild animals, giant birds, and insects while constantly eating bones, hams, and fruit to boost the score. Each stage ends with an oversized boss battle, and clearing it opens a new biome. The game features vivid colors, exaggerated animations, and a playful sound design that capture the lighthearted tone typical of early European PC games. Its casual pick-up-and-play appeal made it a popular title on the DOS platform, and a sequel expanded on the same formula.
