Rainbow Island

Rainbow Island is the official sequel to Taito's arcade hit Bubble Bobble. Players control Bubby, now in human form, who wields the power to shoot rainbows — using them to defeat enemies or as climbing platforms to ascend each level. The quest spans seven themed colorful islands, each with its own visual identity and enemy roster. Enemies drop gems when defeated, and collecting specific gem combinations unlocks the true ending. Rainbow Island is celebrated for its vertically scrolling stage design, vibrant color palette, and responsive controls — a worthy follow-up to one of gaming's most beloved arcade classics.
