Alien Storm

A 1990 Sega side-scrolling beat-'em-up. When aliens invade Earth, three agents — Karen, Gordon, and Scooter — are dispatched to repel them. Players battle through city streets, shops, and enemy spacecraft, blasting aliens with laser guns and collecting item drops to restore health. The game periodically shifts format, inserting first-person shooting segments and frantic scrolling escape sequences into the main action. Flashy visual effects and an electric guitar-driven soundtrack evoke the sci-fi B-movie aesthetic of the late 1980s. The game was later ported to the Mega Drive and Master System with adjustments to suit each platform.
