Amazon: Guardians of Eden

A point-and-click adventure released by Access Software in 1992 for DOS, developed by the same team behind the Mean Streets series. Set in 1957, players take the role of young lawyer Jason Roberts, who travels into the Amazon rainforest to find his missing brother and the legendary Inca treasure rumored to lie within. The journey leads through encounters with cannibalistic tribes, dinosaurs, ancient deities, and corporate conspirators. Gameplay blends inventory puzzles, branching dialogue, and brief action sequences. The title made use of Access's proprietary RealSound technology alongside early VGA digitized character animation, making it a visually distinctive adventure for its time.
