Castlevania III

Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse is a 1989 Konami action game for the Famicom and a prequel to the original Castlevania. Players control vampire hunter Trevor Belmont, armed with the sacred whip, as he storms Dracula's castle. The game introduced a branching path system that lets players choose different routes, and three recruitable companions: the nimble Grant DaNasty, the spell-wielding Sypha Belnades, and Dracula's own son Alucard, each with unique abilities. Multiple routes and endings substantially extend replayability, cementing it as one of the finest action titles on the Famicom.
