Darkwing Duck

Developed by Capcom and released in 1992, Darkwing Duck is a side-scrolling action game based on Disney's animated series of the same name. Players take control of the caped crime-fighter across stages set on city rooftops, in sewers, and atop skyscrapers, battling operatives of the villainous F.O.W.L. organization. The gameplay draws heavily from the Mega Man series: Darkwing wields a gas gun loaded with interchangeable gas cartridges, and selecting the appropriate ammunition is essential for overcoming stage hazards and defeating bosses.
