Final Fight

Final Fight is a side-scrolling beat-'em-up published by Capcom for the Super Famicom, adapted from the acclaimed arcade original. Players choose between Metro City mayor Mike Haggar and street fighter Cody, battling their way through Mad Gear gang territory to rescue the kidnapped Jessica. The port preserves the arcade version's satisfying combo system and diverse enemy roster, with each boss encounter carrying its own distinct personality. The Super Famicom release restructured some stages to suit home console play, but the hard-hitting, direct feel of the combat remains fully intact — making it a benchmark title for the beat-'em-up genre on the platform.
