Future Boy

Future Boy is a NES side-scrolling action game set in a post-apocalyptic city overrun by robot forces. Players pilot a small spherical robot through the ruins, using high-speed spinning and projectile attacks to destroy a diverse array of mechanical enemies. The visual atmosphere is immediately striking: a crimson apocalyptic sky looms behind jagged urban silhouettes, giving each stage a brooding, intense mood.
