Galaxian

Galaxian is a classic fixed-shooter arcade game released by Namco in 1979 and ported to the Famicom in 1984. The player pilots a lone spaceship along the bottom of the screen, firing upward into orderly formations of Galaxip alien warships. Unlike Space Invaders, enemies periodically break rank and dive toward the player in kamikaze attack runs, dramatically raising the tension. Destroying the entire alien fleet triggers the arrival of a new, more aggressive wave, continuously testing the player's reflexes and ability to manage incoming threats. This dynamic enemy behavior was a significant step forward for the fixed-shooter genre at the time.
