Genesis Hero

Genesis Hero is a Chinese-developed action RPG for the NES. The game opens with a prologue chapter in which the player takes control of a warrior exploring an overhead-view wilderness map. Starting with 13 hit points, the player must steadily accumulate gold and magic to grow stronger. Gameplay weaves together map exploration, resource management, and real-time combat, embodying the distinctive style of independently produced Chinese-language FC RPGs from that era.
