Heroes of Jin Yong

Heroes of Jin Yong is a Chinese wuxia RPG released by Softstar Entertainment in 1996. Players are transported into the martial-arts world of Jin Yong's novels, where they can meet iconic heroes from all fourteen works — including Guo Jing, Linghu Chong, and Zhang Wuji. The objective is to gather scattered pages from each of the fourteen novels; once collected, the protagonist masters a supreme technique needed to defeat the final boss. The game features open-ended exploration, turn-based combat, the ability to recruit dozens of swordsmen as companions, and multiple endings. Widely regarded as a pioneer of the wuxia RPG genre, it had a lasting influence on subsequent Chinese game development.
