Hilarious Three Kingdoms

A late-era domestic Famicom turn-based strategy game featuring chibi Three Kingdoms characters and deliberately comic battle animations — infantry boot-kick enemies into the air while cavalry thunder past in clouds of dust. Gameplay closely mirrors Koei's Eikeiden series, with stages advancing through iconic battles from Romance of the Three Kingdoms: the Yellow Turban Rebellion, the engagements at Bowang and Xinye, the Battle of Red Cliffs, the conquest of Sichuan, the three-way standoff, and a final assault on Luoyang. Four unit types — infantry, cavalry, archers, and advisors — can branch into 25 elite classes, with beginner, normal, and expert difficulty settings.
