Mighty Final Fight

Capcom's 1993 NES exclusive takes the gritty street-brawler Final Fight and reimagines it with chibi super-deformed characters and a snappier pace. All three heroes — Haggar, Cody, and Guy — are selectable, each with their own combo strings, special moves, and jump attacks. Defeating enemies earns experience points; leveling up unlocks new techniques and raises your maximum health, adding a light RPG progression layer absent from the arcade original. The villain Belger and his Mad Gear organization remain the target, with stages following roughly the same order as the arcade. An impressive technical showcase for the aging NES hardware.
