Planetarian

Planetarian: The Reverie of a Little Planet is a short kinetic novel developed by Key and released in 2004, written by Yuichi Suzumoto. Set in a near-future city reduced to ruins by a devastating war, a lone Junker—a scavenger who forages in dangerous zones—sneaks into the rooftop planetarium of an abandoned department store, where he meets Yumemi Hoshino, a cheerful android guide who has faithfully awaited visitors for thirty years. Over a few nights lit by a projected artificial sky, Yumemi delivers her star-show narration to her only audience ever, and the Junker's hardened heart quietly begins to change. Concise yet emotionally rich, Planetarian is widely regarded as a landmark of healing sci-fi visual novels.
