Released alongside Pokemon FireRed, Pokemon LeafGreen is a full-color remake of the 1996 Game Boy classic Pokemon Blue. Players begin their journey in Pallet Town, challenge Kanto's eight Gym Leaders, dismantle Team Rocket, and ultimately face the Pokemon League at Indigo Plateau. Version-exclusive Pokemon include Meowth, Farfetch'd, and Tauros — species originally found wild in the Blue version. Post-game content expands into the Sevii Islands storyline, with Wireless Adapter support for trading and battles, and compatibility with Generation III's Ruby and Sapphire to complete the National Pokédex. Redrawn pixel animations, re-arranged original BGM, and a streamlined UI give the Blue experience a polished new life on GBA.
