Radical Dreamers

Radical Dreamers: Le Trésor Interdit is a 1996 text adventure by Square, released exclusively for the Super Famicom's Satellaview satellite service. Set in a parallel world to Chrono Trigger, the story follows Serge, the young thief Kid, and the enigmatic mage Magil as they infiltrate Viper Manor to steal the legendary jewel known as the Frozen Flame. Gameplay is driven entirely by prose narration and branching dialogue choices, with multiple endings adding significant replay value. The characters and lore introduced here later served as the direct creative foundation for Chrono Cross.
