Super Contra 7

An unlicensed NES action game modeled on the Contra series and circulated under the title Super Contra 7. The game preserves the familiar structure of alternating side-scrolling and top-down stages, with players blasting through alien soldiers and mechanical bosses while collecting weapon upgrades. Stage layouts and the weapons system draw heavily from the official Contra titles and their sequels. As an unauthorized production, it diverges from Konami's canon in various ways and was distributed primarily through bootleg cartridges across Asian markets.
