Tomato Adventure

Tomato Adventure is an action RPG developed by AlphaDream — the studio later known for the Mario & Luigi series — released exclusively in Japan in 2002. The protagonist DeMille sets out for the Ketchup Kingdom to rescue his girlfriend Mell, who has been kidnapped by the king. The combat system revolves around gimmick weapons: players operate various toy-like contraptions to trigger special attacks, with timed button inputs boosting damage output. Featuring vibrant visuals, a witty dialogue-heavy script, and numerous interactive contraptions, it stands as one of the GBA's most distinctive Japanese action RPGs and has never received an official translation.
