Young Ranger

Young Ranger is a wuxia adventure RPG for the NES in which players guide a young hero through the treacherous jianghu martial arts world, standing against criminal organizations such as the Lingnan Sect across towns, wilderness, and other varied environments. The game uses a top-down perspective with free movement and dialogue-driven storytelling delivered entirely in Chinese, making it one of the few genuine Chinese-language native wuxia titles on the early Famicom platform. Exploration, puzzle-solving, and turn-based combat are woven together as the protagonist grows stronger and gradually exposes the conspiracy lurking behind the chaos.
