Ys

Ys is an action role-playing game originally developed by Falcom of Japan in 1987; the DOS version is a port of that classic. Players guide the red-haired adventurer Adol Christin to the mysterious town of Minea to investigate an ancient legend, eventually setting out to explore the floating continent of Ys itself. Combat runs on a distinctive bump system — ramming enemies from the side deals damage without a dedicated attack button.
