Zan III Spirits

Zan III Spirits is a Sengoku-era strategy game for the Super Nintendo developed by Wolf Team (Telenet Japan), based on the acclaimed PC-9801 title. Players choose a feudal lord and lead their armies across Japan in a campaign to conquer rival domains and achieve national unification. The gameplay echoes Koei's Nobunaga's Ambition series but places a stronger emphasis on military operations and logistical planning, with domestic management taking a back seat. On the map screen, players direct units into offensive and defensive engagements, carefully balancing troop deployment and resource allocation. As one of the few dedicated Sengoku military strategy titles on the Super Nintendo, it offers genuine tactical depth.
