About this game
Published by Nihon Bussan in 1992 for the Famicom, F1 Circus is a top-down Formula 1 racing game viewed from directly overhead. Players race formula cars across the world's Grand Prix circuits at high speed, demanding precise throttle, braking, and gear inputs; collisions or going off-track cause damage or force retirement. The full race weekend is represented — practice, qualifying, and the race itself — with tunable engine, tire, and downforce settings. A multi-round points championship mode is also included. The game's blistering scroll speed and demanding simulation make it one of the handful of genuinely hardcore racing titles on the NES.
